The 100 Faces Project: Unleashing My Artistic Evolution
In the magical world of art, where inspiration comes and goes (as the chatbot would say), I started an ambitious project in May 2023 painting 100 faces/portraits. This artistic challenge aimed to improve my painting skills, by avoiding unpredictable moments of inspiration.
With each face in my collection, I weave my dreams and often push the boundaries of reality. Each painting is made with an 8-hour painting limit, ensuring a steady flow and preventing stagnation. I wanted to be able to just say, happy or not, this painting is now done and force myself to move on. This is some sort of a voyage of self-discovery as much as learning different techniques.
